Covid 19 All services have been temporarily suspended

A note from our Executive Director Megan O’Keefe:

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global corona virus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our communities, and our way of life. I want to reach out as the new Executive Director of Caregiver Volunteers to update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Caregiver Volunteers. First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.  We are focused on the health and safety of our employees, volunteers, receivers and community, which is why we made the difficult decision to suspend our regular services and switch to CoVid response programs. Our team is working remotely to connect both volunteers and receivers to resources to help them get access to food and transportation through partnerships with community organizations.  Our team remains focused on our mission to help the isolated home bound elderly in our community. We find our true character in how we handle moments like this, and our relentless commitment to the people we serve is stronger than ever. I wish you all well and I cannot wait to see you all soon.
