Toms River, NJ (March 29, 2017) Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) announced the election of four new members to its Board of Directors:
Jean Flaherty is Director of Marketing & Communications for Community Medical Center in Toms River. Jean’s efforts to enhance community health naturally support CVCJ’s commitment to maintain the independence of vulnerable residents.
Rev. Blair Goold is Pastor of Island Heights United Methodist Church (UMC) in Island Heights, NJ. Rev. Blair has served as pastor for multiple churches in the Greater New Jersey Conference of the UMC, and as Council Chair for Young Adult Ministries.
Anthony Canderozzi is the Senior Financial Planner for Creative Financial Strategies in Wall Township. Anthony is a 29-year financial services industry veteran and brings proven knowledge and experience to the CVCJ Board.
Rev. Msgr. Sam A. Sirianni is Pastor of the Church of St. Robert Bellarmine RC Church in Freehold and Rector of the Co-Cathedral. Msgr. Sirianni has served in nine New Jersey parishes, six as pastor, and as Director of the Office of Worship for 22 years.
CVCJ assists the elderly, homebound and veterans of Ocean and Monmouth County with services that empower them to remain independent in their own homes. The Board of Directors oversees CVCJ’s resource development, finances and governance.

Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 to assist the elderly, homebound, and veterans with everyday tasks to remain independent in their own homes. All services are free of charge and delivered by 1,200 volunteers to over 2,000 Ocean and Monmouth County, NJ individuals over the age of 60 who are no longer driving.
