Alexandra & Nicholas

ALEXANDRA Amato has been in the healthcare field since 1989. I currently am the Director of Community Relations for Artis Senior Living of Eatontown. I love being able to give families the Ability to have a voice in their loved ones care. Making a choice for families can be a difficult one, especially when it comes to placing their loved ones in an assisted living community. My job is to educate them, give them the resources that will help them make the best decision. I am passionate about fundraising and bringing awareness to many causes such as Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey. Fun fact, I am 100% Portuguese, born in Portugal I came to the United States when she was 6 years old! I am married to my husband John and am a mother to 4 boys! Two boys of my own Christopher 16, Nicholas 21 and two Step Children, Joe 23 and Anthony 28. I love to binge watch Netflix, watch any sport, especially basketball and vacation in Miami with my husband.
NICHOLAS Gastiaburo is the Director of Sales Sunrise Senior Living Shrewsbury. “I recently rejoined the Sunrise team at Shrewsbury and have been working in the senior living industry for nearly fourteen years, ten of which, collectively were spent with Sunrise! Being able to provide seniors and their loved ones long term solutions to meet their needs through personalized care and meaningful interactions is the best part of my day and why I love coming to work. Our seniors have a wealth of experience and they’ve taught me so much over the years. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my dogs. I also love to cook, enjoy days at the beach, and traveling.”

Piya & Nate

PIYA PAULUS is the owner of Always Best Care which serves Ocean, Monmouth, Somerset & Middlesex counties. Piya is a Serial Entrepreneur with a proven track record of running successful businesses. After working for over 10 years in the financial services sector, her entrepreneurial spirit took over, Piya decided to become self-employed and launched Catalyst Systems Inc., an information technology company that thrived for over 12 years under her leadership. In February 2014, when Piya realized that she is not being challenged enough, she jumped into the Elderly care space, a sector which is always very close to her heart. This was a new challenge, what started off as a small homecare company in 2014, she grew that into one of NJ’s largest with 4 counties and about 160 employees in a span of 4 years. For Piya, she had found her calling and wanted to give our Elderly a complete continuum of care, she ventured into Adult Daycare so that our lonely Seniors can go from one to the other as their needs changed. Piya always believed in giving back and Women Empowerment is the cause closest to her heart. She used her business acumen to guide small businesses owned and operated by women from startups to taking it to the next level. She has helped multiple women based businesses in America and now is going global. Piya loves to travel the world and shop at the all the beautiful places she visits. She also loves to dance…and is big on yoga.
