How CaregiverKids Makes a World of Difference
CaregiverKids is a project of CVCJ developed to enhance the inter-generational understanding between our elderly and today’s youth. Our CareigverKids project seeks to bridge the generations by providing opportunities for mutual understanding and caring.
By providing on-site aging sensitivity training, we educate our youth on the natural changes in physical functions that occur as people age and obstacles these declines may cause. Through interactive exercises they are able to experience the functional disabilities that aging may bring.
Who Are Caregiver Kids?
Caregiver Kids is a unique inter-generational program consisting of young people who like to have fun with their friends and learn things while helping people!
This is a wonderful program for children looking to learn more about the older generation and get community service hours. This is a good partnership for Assisted Living and Long-Term Care Facilities looking for fun programs.
